ZLE Front Tires

I know that there is a thread out on this, but I need to know before I pull the trigger on some new tires for my 19 ZLE, I am keeping with the stock rims and need to know what min and max tire size I can go on the front, I am keeping with the 325/30-19 on the back and there is not many set ups to keep everything with the same brand, I have read that some go with two different brands but unless someone has positive with that setup then I may go that route.

What is your intended use? Track? Street? Daily drive? If you primarily track it the stock tires can not be beat. Not sure why you want to go wider up front? The beautiful ZE suspension is set up to work best with the stock size tires. I would never mix brands. You gain zero and risk unpredictable handling.

I’ll plug Michelin pilot sport AS3+ again.

Stock wheels, 325/30, 285/30.

I could not be happier with noise, performance in cold/wet, and tread life warranty.

Don’t plan on using these for track duty, just DD duty.

With stock wheels, 315 upfront and 345 rear. Can you fit larger? yes, but will introduce risks of potential rubbing. Brand mixing could bring a whole slew of issues.

I don't plan on tracking it anytime soon, I have just under 300 on the odometer/tires and I do plan on keeping the stock tires and plan on using it as part time DD (if it rains it stays parked just like the 1SS I had) I am looking at the Hankook V12, Conti extreme contact sport and the Michelin pilot sport AS3+, I really have only 2 size options for the front, either 305's or 285's, I have noticed that the 305's do seem to wander if you pay attention and of course the roads in Louisiana suck.

If you are staying in stock sizes, PS4S all around for street duty.

I also ran the numbers that a 295/30-19 would work up front.

Anything close to stock size or narrower will work but it will have more stretch. Most any wide tire will tram line too, just a consequence of the width of the wheels.

Has anyone tried 285/35-19's? from the looks they will fit up to an 11 inch rim but the height is what worries me such as rubbing on any suspension parts.

Thats quite narrow on an 11 inch rim I feel like youll have too much stretch on the sidewall.

From what some of these tire manufactures say on that size, it fits from 9.5 to 11 but it makes me worry, kind of like when some people go to a 285/30-19, I my self would go with a 295 on the front but trying to find a good all season tire for the beast is rather hard to find without mismatching brands which I don't want to do.
