Anyone have recommendations on what areas to definitely cover... I know I'm doing the whole front bumper and lights, Front Fenders, A-Pilars, and Leading edge of the roof...Also doing some form of "Rock Guards" on the rear quarters prior to the rear wheels...
I’m going through with a quote for front bumper ppf $500 and ceramic coating $500. Bought ZL1Addons rock guards as well, I already have side skirts but even then I have found a rock chip or two right above the factory ppf that’s between the door and rear tire

I think I'll just have them do PPF on most of the door / quarter to keep it protected for sure.

There are some pics floating around on the forums here, that show which areas to cover with PPF.

So now I can finally DRIVE my 2SS1LE after waiting for my PPF, Sealant, and Ceramic coating the wheels appointment.... Picked it up the other day so my buddy that bought his the same week and I took them to the mountains for a short drive...

He's already broken his in (over 1500) but I was only at 180 miles. Got back home with 345 or so.

I'm extremely impressed with this car already... Wonderful handling car... Can't feel the power yet as I'm being fairly strict on the break-in. Just received my oil and differential fluid for my first change when I get to 1500. lift pads received also. Can't wait to get it fully broken in.

Few pics at Detailed Designs Auto Spa for the PPF and a few pics at a stop in the mountains yesterday.

Beautiful! Welcome to the club. We have a 1LE specific forum too.

Your doing the right things on break in. I'd only add some rock guards. These 1LE's with Goodyears kick up rocks.

Yeah, I had my guy PPF the whole rocker area, lower half of the both doors, the whole piece in front of the rear wheels, and the area behind the rear wheels. It should be covered well I hope.

Finally got the 1500 miles on it the other day for a full Break-In and then changed the oil and differential fluid. Used Moble 1 Supercar 0-40 and the proper AC Delco Diff. Fluid.

Man that factory Diff. fluid was dirty... I recommend anyone with a fairly new one that didn't change theirs, go ahead and do it.

We did a 400 + mile drive on Sunday... My buddy Mike bought the exact same car / color as me within the same week (except his is an A10).

Couple of videos I shot.... Fall colors are beautiful and our first pass on the Tail of the Dragon with the SS's...

I had to drive with my left hand, Not shift any gears (stayed in 3rd I think), and hold the phone to film with my right hand. lol.

lol. Yup.

Had that cardboard cut out since the early 2000's when I worked at a Motorcycle dealership (sales). It was for an Indian Motorcycle display promo for one of the Terminator movies. I also have the actual original leather jacket with the terminator head stitched into the leather on the back that he wore in the movie.
I should probably try to sell it and see what it would bring.

Its funny you mention that, i effd up and barely did my diff fluid at 50k miles and it looks exactly the same as some people who have changed it at 1500 miles. Needless to say, I'll still be doing it regularly as it is ridiculously easy. Transmission was trickier since you have to back out the fluid 1/8 inch below the fill line if you use the recommended fluid (having a lift helps).
