Newbie question re battery
Ok - since the battery is in the trunk, I noticed a positive marked lead under the hood which I guess is there for jump starting.....so the negative lead would connect anywhere metal under the hood?

Negative! Look at the driver's side of the engine. There is a short post with a rounded top that is the negative post.
