And for those freaking out why I want IRS; an IRS in a 1500 can easily handle its payload rating and the ride will be 1000s time better.
So for people like me towing travel trailers without kids anymore the 1500 would be a fantastic tow vehicle with IRS and a couple size travel trailer. Yes technically the new Tahoe with MAX tow can just about out tow a Crew Cab Silverado 1500 and the Tahoe has IRS. |

They have had a great ride for years now so I'm not sure the argument that it will ride 1000 times better is valid because in all reality, it just won't. Also, a Tahoe won't even come close to the max trailering of a half ton truck. You're talking about 11,900 pounds max for the Silverado vs 8200 for the Tahoe. |
