Yes, that is true. And we don't know what the manual ran at the ring, that would be telling.

Lets all be honest here....GM needs the A10 to outperform the M6 or it would be a PR issue for sure. I am not concerned with any speed over 150 so I could not care less about top end speed. I think the M6 is close enough to make it a drivers race on small tracks and that is where I live and breathe so I am cool with it.

In some ways, you can see the development of the A10 as a nod to lower displacement engines with more narrow power bands.

Long tracks with more straights and sweepers would see an advantage to the A10,no matter how good the manual driver is. Tighter, more technical tracks, yeah...a M6 could probably edge it out. |

Daytona 500 ZL1 pace car has been revealed, and there's "another reveal going down at the paddock today".

Interesting. I wonder what time the reveal will be.

Exactly why I left that open, but from my conversations with Aaron Link (a diehard manual guy) back in August after he had many hours on the track it was very evident that it's pretty much a foregone conclusion.

Well, the ZL1 1LE doesn't come with the A10.

I guess it's safe to say no Z/28 this generation. Either GM wouldn't let Camaro get its own engine or they couldn't get it done.

Very glad to hear this too. Now I can pick up some extra 1LE parts for my A10 Z I'm getting ready to purchase next week.
The suspense has been killing me on this one. Purchase a 2017 and in 18 a better one comes out. |
