On the last pull, MAT was 78F at almost 7,100 rpm; IAT 64F. No ice. Coolant 172.

2941# FRP, 81 FP.

Still working on the 104 tune, then get baseline dyno.

The MAT isn't reading right. It doesn't matter either way...it's not pulling timing.

The number doesn't look too far off. I'll look at the channel list tomorrow to see if it's being polled. There might be an ACT channel too.

MAT is never going to be 14 degrees over ambient on a setup like yours. "Maybe" if you were only making 7psi of boost. Either way it was reading in the 130-140 range and no changes have been made. I would try deleting the PID and then add it back.

DEI Fire Wrap on engine compartment hoses,
Shift light,
Repaired RR level sensor link, which wasn't planned.

I decided to postpone a redo of the tank's plumbing until I see how much good this project accomplished.

You are going to like that Pierburg pump... much superior to that Bosch junk that comes with the Whipple

You can see the hole where the stock idler was mounted and DSX bracket provides a lot more belt wrap. I'm also going to wrap the engine water hose.

There's no way for me to test the Craig Davies versus the Pierburg water pumps, but just by sticking my hand in the tank and feeling the thrust of the water and looking at the turbulence on top of the water, I would say that the Pierburg puts out 50 to 75% more

Exactly which Davies Craig pump were you using?

8160, which is an inexpensive pump

Looks like the new Pierburg has nearly triple the differential pressure of the Davies Craig pump so it should be able to really force the water through the tubing, even if it’s a bit undersized. Looks to be a pretty significant difference. Pump curves attached.

Yeah, I didn't know the figures were that large, but the difference was immediately obvious when I turned on the pump. Thanks for posting the diagram.
