Having a logo is better than mashing a slew of numbers and letters together like chevy has been doing. 1lt,lt1,zl1,zl1 1le etc. Women drive cars too so I can't blame Ford for appealing to them also.

Seems 102SS is also a member of the fully approved ZFG club
Not sure what the future holds, but I will not buy a Mustang either.

A thousand people - a thousand tastes.
Whoever likes it, I respect their opinion If someone close to me buys it and is happy with it, I will be happy that he is happy. But for me it's a disaste The exterior...well...maybe But that didn't impress me either. And the interior is already an electric car And even after Tesla's example. I just take a large display, throw it on the dashboard without the slightest idea of tasteful implantation and go home. Definitely not for me. The Mustangs I would buy... so they were made long before I was born.

Would 1 million percent rather slap an LT2 intake, tune and headers on a 6th gen and absolutely wax this Mustang on the track

This summer it’s my wife’s turn to get a new car. Next summer my younger daughter gets her first car. The following summer my youngest son (of three) gets his first car. Then it’s my turn again. By then my Camaro will be 7 years old. I’ll keep it, but it will get semi retired like the MR2 currently is. If there’s a Shelby badged supercharged V8 available in 2026 I will probably get one, bright red of course. |

Nothing wrong with the car, but the name…not terribly different from 1LT, does nothing for me.
To be fair I really like my 1LE, don’t care for that name either. IROC, Boss, Mach 1, Dark Horse, Bullitt, Cobra, all have a nice ring. SS and GT are decent too. Personal preference, if you like LT1 fine by me, I wouldn’t badge a car that way. |

100% I've said similar to this here somewhere before. wtf is a Camaro, 1LE, Z28, LT1 or a ZL1?? I know what a Mustang, a Cobra, a Challenger, a Charger and who Shelby is. Corvette doesn't do much for me either. GM has terrible marketing & naming skills The LS engines and Ford being Ford has been their saving grace IMO |
