This was posted in the general portion of the forum already, but I feel like it is relevant here as well. Possible strike by the subsystem workers. Might slow down the production for most of us waiting for our vehicles.

I think a saw that they reached a tentative deal today & the strike was avoided.

So I ordered a 1SS 1LE with the PDR in May, but the dealership didn't have a coupe allocation at the time. Early June I got an allocation for a coupe, but they (GM) wouldn't accept my order due to the PDR. I kind of want the PDR because I liked having it on my 2019 and plan on tracking/autoxing it. However, would it just be worth it to drop it to guarantee the car gets built, or should I try to wait it out to get the PDR? Thanks.

I would get it built without and get a 3rd party PDR for the track.

I omitted the PDR also. Do you have an aftermarket one you recommend?

I will defer to the hardcore track folks with more experience but I have heard good things about a vbox.

That's what I had to do when I finally got an allocation back in April. Was able to get everything I wanted, except for the PDR. Wasn't worth delaying the order any further in hopes of getting the option somewhere down the road (had been trying to find a dealer with allocation since November of last year). Figured I'd look at 3rd party options depending on how much I find I'm actually tracking the car.
