I've ran both at a road course and I would pick my 1SS Camaro any day over the Stang as well. I've owned it now for 2.5 years and all I've done is cut out the secondary cats. Can't wait for my headers/x/ZR1 TB and ported IM to go on.
Same here ran the mgw in my GT and didn’t compare to the Camaro trans

Camaro = better chassis, better grip, better handling, better trans, higher quality interior, better in nearly every performance metric

But that coyote.......if only it wasn’t attached to a mustang. That motor is incredible. It’s not about the numbers. That thing is like two b18c5’s welded together.

I've "roll raced" a few, even one 370Z and yes, the Coyote motor is to be respected. MMR is a company to watch for 2000+ HP Billet Coyote blocks, heads, intakes, cam guides for e85 ect. They are "world record" holders for the Coyote & Mustang guys. I can only dream of my own MMR "Drag Racing" Coyote mustang. #poiboy

A 370Z? :/ That should be an easy kill. When I replaced my Infiniti with a Camaro my old Nissan group all wanted a stab. Basically the stock Camaro walked on all of them including a FBO 370Z and SC G35.

The Coyote has nothing on the LT1 Naturally Aspirated. With Boost it's a different story.

I’m wondering if the different converter wheels and tires must’ve eaten up some power. But I’d bet it was locked so who knows. They should’ve done the engine mods first then driveline if you’re doing a comparo article.

Plus they didn’t wait for the throttle body so a benefit of the large mouth of the Msd is not utilized. Agreed the tuner didn’t squeeze any numbers out of it

I have yet to see Mustang tail lights by a long shot and about a dozen have tried. Older ones and newer ones. Either rolling start or stop n go.
Nothing special. 2017 2SS, 6 speed, 1LE suspension, K&N, Tune, TB, Performance plug/wire, Muffler Delete, Injen Throttle Controller, thats it.
