I does seem to have a lot of gold/copper going on in the flake. Interesting.
But as others have said, still waiting for a good blue. (That isn't attached to a 7K appearance package) The short lived aqua-green-blue experiment GM conducted in 2009/10 does not mean we dislike the medium or light blue color spectrum.

Reminds me a lot of the old 96-98 Camaro/Firebird color Cayenne Red.

It would have been Red Rock if I had waited... Was wishing for more of the '68 Corvette Bronze color. But still a nice color.

I don't think it's quite the Cayenne Red from '96-'99.
I had one with chrome factory wheels. Much more like the Sunset Orange that showed up in '01. |

When I bought my '96 Z28 new, I could have gotten the Cayenne Red. It was new that year and I kept trying to like it, but that shade of red just didn't look good to me.
I like the Crystal Red better. |

Is that a compliment or insult? Or just an observation? Just sayin', grew up with the Flintstones (courtesy of Fred's two feet). Dodge challenger shoppers, at least most of them, would KILL for the Camaro color choices! Agreed, Blue and green need more....

Cool color but I'm still looking for a metallic root beer, and I guess a blue might be nice judging by all the calmering on in this forum.
