alright the color palette on this car is beyond busted chevy. these 3 reds look similar, with red rock and crystal red being damn near the same color in these pics.

3 reds

the grey-black-silver-white greyscale colors, BRM included

1 yellow

I was at the dealer looking for RRM, and I can tell you that I instantly recognized it as a different color.
In the picture I put up two days ago, you can see two CRT in the background.

I guess CRT and RRM will get mistaken for each other a lot. VR and IOM looked very similar in some pictures. I'm sure it's easy to tell the difference in person. I've been wrong before.

it depends on the light and the overcast i can see a difference in the rrm and the crystal red.... we own a crystal red and the crystal red is a darker shade of red and the rrm has more orange in it.. you can see the difference in the first pic with the cr in the background.... both are great colors... but everyone who is a blue fan needs to email chevy and tell them they want to see the cobalt blue on the 2015 or the gen 6 camaro... i seen a new 2014 gmc with that cobalt blue and wow its a very nice blue way better than the blue ray they have now....

Having seen it in person at the NY auto show the best way I can describe it is that it's like IOM but much more red than Orange. Think tomato soupish.

Red rock looks like crap in the pics. I hope it looks better in person. CRT looks a whole lot better shade than that one.

CRT is a "prettier" color. It shows the lines with a bright red than there are varying shades throughout the car.

RRM does not show the lines quite as well as CRT, but it is a very rich color with depth. Since IOM is off the shelf, RRM is the next best thing. Dare I say...

it's better than IOM

Looks like this is an old thread...but i had to chime in. I think the RRM is much MUCH better in person that CRT. In different lights it will go from reddish orange brown (night) to maroon (overcast) to full or red (sunny)

Ultimately it comes down to taste, buy yeah...so which color did you end up getting?

My buddy Kurt (slickrichic) just picked up a RRM 1LE.

There are some picture of his car in these threads:

The color is similar to my Blue Ray Metallic in that it shows much better in person. The metal flaks in the paint really pop in the sun.

I just picked up a 2015 RRM LS and am very pleased with the color. I had also looked at a low mileage used CRM 2014 which looked outstanding in the sun. RRM looks really good in all light conditions and doesn't seem to show dirt as bad as CRM. We have had a lot of overcast days since I bought the car and it looks darker under the overcast conditions and more coppery in the sunlight. I like it a lot, even better than CRM.

Disgusting GOOD i hope you mean. Thanks Maybe. LoL But no really this color is one of the Best i've seen from Chevy. The true name or aka is Red Rusted Roof. A little costly when you go to buy it. Also very rare. As of my last research only 170 1LE's have been made to date in this color.

You made the right decision. I ordered mine without ever seeing it. Kinda knew what it looked like from pictures but for the life of me could not find it on any Dealers Lot i went to. Pulled the trigger blind and boy was i happy when the Sale Rep pulled up in it. Blown away.
