So Whipple is coming out with the 3.0 which means there are no more 2.9s available. ANd they are about 90 days out before the system is available for the 6th Gen Camaros. They basically have to develop the system around the blower for our cars. I initially planned to wait the 90 days. But I changed my mind and am going to just switch to the Maggie 2650. I figure it is a tried and true setup that I should have no issues with. Plus I can have it done and have my car back in time to enjoy the entire Summer. So that is the direction I am going with. I'm just waiting for the shop to send me the updated invoice so I can send out the payment. So the ZL1 should be ready and finished by Summer.

The GT has a cai, LTs, and custom tune on the way. All should be installed by next Wednesday or Thursday!! I also have a ported IM that I ordered. It is back ordered so I won't see that for a few weeks. When it comes in I will also order the Vortech Stage 2 kit for her with the Paxton 2200 head unit. That will probably be my Summer project. I am also going to upgrade the brakes and speakers. Geez this thing has some horrible speakers. And the brakes feel like they're made of wood. So all that will be modded around the same time as the blower is installed...if not sooner.

I'm not sure what to do with the Hellcat at this point. But I think I'll try to get it to 800+ RWHP on pump gas and leave it alone. I'll probably wait until Fall to do that.

So that is where I am at. I also have parts sitting in my living room for the Hayabusa (full exhaust, air filter) and the H2-SX (full exhaust, air filter, block-off plate, sprocket) that need to be installed along with dyno tune. And the M109R will also be getting a Cobra swept exhaust, filter, and dyno tune as well. If all goes well I will have all my vehicles finished by the end of the Fall!!

So my car is being shipped out to the shop on Tuesday for them to get started with the installs. Again this is the stage 4 package that includes the following:

Texas Speed 2" long tube headers
Roto-Fab Big Gulp cold air intake
Off road pipes
Nick William 103MM throttle body
ATI balancer with 14% pulley ring (20% pulley available)
Gates green belt
Cam Package with custom spec 2650 cam
Dod Delete kit
Magnuson 2650 Supercharger
Magnuson 103mm Snout
DSX aux pump
NGK TR7 plugs

On top of all this I added ported TSP heads (so there will be no weak points in my setup), flex fuel setup and tune, race gas tune tune, and some other goodies. I'm thinking with all the work it should be finished in about 3-4 weeks. So I will be getting it back probably by the beginning of August. I'm definitely excited and can't wait to see/hear/feel/experience the final results!! I'll update on Tuesday!!

Sounds spectacular. Blaq's house of power.

You're doing it right by replacing the factory 1.7L with a Magnuson.

Who is doing the work?

As it is with LTs on the GT a cold start is insanely loud. I always feel guilty when starting it up at night. The ZL1 will probably be louder once all is finished.

I was originally going to go with the Whipple 2.9 but they DC'd it to make way for the 3.0. The shop wanted me to wait for the 3.0 and I kinda liked the idea of being one of the first ZL1s with it. But I also thought it might be better to go with the goold ole tried and true 2650 since it has been done many times now.

I have Juiced Motorsports doing the work. They used to be a vendor on here but I guess something happened with them and some customers and they aren't on here anymore. I had already spoken with them and partially paid for my package before all that happened tho. So after speaking with them several times and emails back and forth I am quite comfortable having them do the work. Plus all the issues seemed to be Pandemic related so I'm not too worried. They have always been there to answer emails and return my calls and keep in contact with me these past few months!!

My cold start in the garage is borderline embarrassing now, too
