2018 ZL1 1LE - 3000 Accepted by production control - Page 2

My zl1 1le is at 3000 no tpw yet. I really don’t want it to be built or shipped during the winter months but my luck is since I don’t want it right away it will be the fastest ordered car I have ever gotten. When I ordered my truck I didn’t have a truck and needed one ASAP and it took forever to get. I want to be able to pay my z06 off and be able to pay for a clear bra install when I get the car so may-June would be perfect so it will get here in March and I ordered it December 28th

1st rule is never order something when you need it, you'll never get it by the time you really need it. Always order it before you need it.

Thats exactly what I did with the zl1 1le. Let's face it I don't really need it at all lol...but I certainly don't need it until May here in NH

I’m actually hoping mine gets delayed until April or May lol. Dead of winter here where I’m at. No chance I’m wanting to drive it 1,100 miles back home into a winter wonderland.

yeah my dealer is 90 miles or about 1.75 hours away and if it comes in any earlier then mid april i will be trailering home enclosed. even mid april i may have them hold a week or two depending on weather. But most likely i will trailer home if weather is bad as i don't want it hanging around the dealer.

I was going to take mine south to Southern California and leave the car at my folks house if it showed up mid February. Then take a nice drive up north back home in the spring time. Seems like a good excuse and fun trip (for me) to take the wife on

Ah, but you have to get windows tinted, paint protected, other stuff done, etc. Having it ahead of time lets you get a lot of stuff sorted out before driving season!

TPW 2/19 baby and if 6-8 weeks after build starts holds true should see it early to mid april and believe it or not I'm hoping mid april due to weather late april would be even better
