i have an odd issue during cold winter starts while the oil pressure is slightly higher than normal the gauge for oil pressure would bounce around sporadically. Still havent fixed it but hasn't been an issue during temps over freezing

All of my issues with the car, while not necessarily minor, had nothing to do with the LT1 engine

I put minor issues down as it doesn't run nearly as smooth as my 14 Vette with same engine.

Curious, anyone posting good or bad have over 60,000 miles? AFM issues seem to come on with higher mileage.

If you have an oil burner and go to the dealer for warranty, they will monitor the oil usage over X miles for you. GM says 1 qt per 2000 miles is A OK. But the TSBs out now say if the customer thinks it is excessive they can adjust that 1 qt per 2000 to allow warranty work. No if your C6 is burning 1/2 qt in 2000, they will not adjust that much.

Looks like I'm burning through more than that. Its a quart every 1500 km or so - since they started tracking it.

i had a full engine replacement after rod bearing failure around 546 miles. drove it safe and steady. engine now is smooth and everyone at the shop said to drive it like you stole it. i said whatever, its on you if it is. also my first american car so not the best experience. but i really love this car. amazing features coming from a lexus.

Only issue I've had is the torque converter in the A8. The LT1 has been great so far. I hate AFM/DOD but the range disabler has been a blessing.
