IMHO yes it's worth it. Especially in the mountains. I use both AA online and offline. Factory nav has saved my butt more than once.

Am I the only person that uses waze on Apple Car Play. easy to use....
Works great. I had nav on my 17' SS and it was a giant waste.

The nav system uses the HUD and dash screen so you never have to look away from the road.

I have the factory nav and have never used it. Waze has never let me down and I have never lost signal and travel all over the SE United States.
I did recently get an offer from GM to upgrade my nav maps for around $100, Waze constantly upgrades it’s maps for free, so there is that to consider as well |
