ZL1 OEM wheels in silver!
Was thinking of changing my ZL1 wheels to silver, anyone did it?

That is chrome. Chrome is out of style but do whatever you like, not what anyone else likes.

I saw this car in FB ZL1 group. Not sure if this person is on here or not. I believe his set up is stripped and polished, not chrome.

I think silver coated wheels look better on darker colors. They can be powder coated in various shades of silver for a about $200 or so the last time I checked with the place I use. I'd do this before switching to aftermarket wheels.

The coating from Detroit wheels is PVD Chrome. Not actual chrome plating...it's lighter and more durable. You can actually polish scratches out similar to a polish wheel but it doesn't get dull like Polish. I like it...I have stock SS 5 spokes PVD coated from Detroit wheel. They have held up very well and show less dust compared to black wheels.
