Headers without tune? What problems can happen and can I do it?
Want to get these catless headers? however cant justify paying 1200 for a tune around me just for headers, so do I HAVE to get a tune for headers, and if I dont is there issues that can occur?

I purchased the bullydog tuner from Dyno Steve and he wrote a tune for the car. Was unbelievably simple.
You will need a tune with catless headers. We see too far.

Yes.. get a tune. Sure.. it will "run" without a tune, but, not very well. Pick up the headers, if you wish, hold on to them, collect more parts, when you get to where you want it, install everything together and pick up the tune

My better question is who the hell are you going to that wanting 1200 just for the tune? Unless that’s also including installing the headers, dyno runs, and a full tank of e85, I would expect a handy out back included if that’s JUST the tune price…

$1200 sounds outrageous for just a tune. I’d shop around because you won’t get the full benefits of the long tubes without the tune and will probably get a CEL.

Yes of course you need a tune for headers and $1200 is a lot of money for a tune.

Waste to do headers without a tune as that is where the gains are in HP.
