But can NOT be posted enough! EVERYONE needs to "Layer" their anti-theft efforts (start with very visible items (Steering wheel clubs, steering wheel to brake pedal clubs), just make sure you are NOT the easiest target... Thieves are stupid and even more so, LAZY (they steal cars instead of getting a job)... Layers of security are the key... I'm planning to make a small, laminated card that will go over my VIN when I park that says something along the line of "This vehicle has multiple mechanical and electronic vehicle immobilizers installed" I figure once they look in and see my steering wheel club along with my steering wheel to brake pedal club they may think twice wondering what else I have done (which there ARE multiple other items (not to be disclosed here in public))...

The TicTok thieves know all about it. You get broken into even with security, because they know GM hasn't done a damn thing to fix it and they are willing to try it.

One thought I had if you find yourself in a situation like that with thieves in your driveway would be, if you’ve got any other cars in the driveway, set off the panic alarms on all of them. That way you wouldn’t need to go outside and it would probably wake up your whole neighborhood.
