Awesome, glad to hear it! Thank you for choosing Roto-fab.

I haven't had my car on a dyno and just got past the 500 mile mark before it went in for full PPF and tint, but I'll say that the RF intake looks and sounds amazing. I would also be more inclined to believe people willing to show before and after dyno results than naysayers without empirical evidence.

Placed my order for a RF on Tuesday. It's an expensive piece here in Canada. Nearly $800. It seems most of the larger performance shops are using RF. Purchased mainly to hear the SC more, but if the dyno pulls are correct, the extra HP and TQ will be a bonus.

I haven’t made my mind up either way about getting a CAI for my 2017. The only 2 I would consider is the RF and the Cold Air Inductions Intake which is pricey and made of Carbon Fiber. The stock intake seems to be good for a stock engine but for heavy mods then you would need an aftermarket CAI.

I'm looking at a used ZL1 with a Roto-fab. This would be a daily driver, is the filter sealed well from rain?

The Roto-fab system has the most 3rd party testing and validation by far. It is also the go-to CAI for high performance shops such as Lingenfelter, Hennessey, Jannetty, Vengeance, JDP, and many more! These guys do their homework, and continue to choose Roto-fab for the outstanding performance, superior quality, and customer service that is second to none.

Below are a few dyno sheets and customer testimonials for our 2017+ ZL1 cold air intake. If you have any photos, reviews, or questions about this system, feel free to share!

Customer Testimonials:

Dave
"I did an independent test Wednesday on the Rotofab intake on my 2017 ZL1 A10.
Stock was 555hp 536tq, changed intake
and made 2 more pulls. 580hp 548tq.
25hp gain. No tune or anything else."

Jeffery

"Couldn't be happier with the purchase of my RotoFab CAI. Easy installation and love the increased SC whine and the seemingly improved throttle responsiveness."

Thomas
'Do you want to actually hear the supercharger whine as it pulls in alot more air than that little factory air intake? This does the trick. Easy to install with excellent instructions. Fits great and seals to hood when closed."

Gilgamesh

"Much louder and more responsive."

Kermit ZL1
"Simply put:
Would I buy this product again? Absolutely
Would I recommend it? In a heart beat
Would I re-buy a carbon fiber version? Shut up and take my money!"
594/608 on a "stock" ZL1

I think most folks would be fine purchasing the intake without posting stuff like this. It doesn't help credibility.

I get it, baseline doesn't matter, only increased HP/trq with the mod.. but this baseline is BS

Also, same WHP gains have been seen and reproduced with a green filter and the factory intake. So it would appear that the OEM filter is the rate limiting factor in the OEM setup.

Anyone have an idea if GM is going to release their own CAI for the LT4 (ZL1 version) like they have for the LT1? No offense to RF or others, but I'd like to have as minimal warranty issues as possible.
