Imo the 555r2's are the best tire out there that offer the least amount of compromise.

Pros- Quiet, handle relatively well, no rear end wag at high speed, and night/day better traction vs any high performance street tire without giving up much tread life.

Cons- Not going to handle like a Super Car tire for high speed cornering.
Im thinking these might be the ticket for street duty for the reasons you listed. Torn between those or the R888R.

Happy Thanksgiving gents. Keep these things on the pavement!

Thanks King, great information. I kinda ruined the high speed cornering when I bumped to this stage 5, I definitely respect this power in the corners now, much more than I did when she was stock. Nittos prolly the way to go...

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if the 555r2's hook better at higher speed then your drag pack with MT's. The MT's are probably the best there is at the track on a prepped surface but on the street they seem to do weird stuff...like act like they are hooked up then break loose. Also the street tears them up like a cheese shredder and when the tread starts to ball up they lose a lot of grip.

I wish Nitto made a 17" tire that was closer in size to the OD and Width of my stock tire/wheel combo...

Yea the only thing some what close to those specs is their 345/30/19 which should fit your stock wheels.
