My order was built on the 13th of Jan and showing 4800 status since the 3rd. The ETA was Feb 3rd per my dealer. Joe previously gave me a couple updates showing it at 4800. I checked with him again today and he said it was now at 3800. Thinking it might be a typo, I contacted chevy cust service and they say it's at 4000.

Palsapp showed it at the Lansing rail yard on the 18th of Jan.

Any ideas how this can this happen? I was expecting it to be delivered by now.

From what I understand, the status is only "mostly linear" from 1100 to 3800, then again from 5000 to 6000. All 4xxx codes represent internal transfer, temporary storage and transport stages/cycles that can repeat and aren't listed in increasing order, simply because not all built cars follow the same route and means of transport.

So it isn't unthinkable that the status goes back to 3800 (vehicle built) if transport is rescheduled or rearranged. My pre-nonsense era order (see below), for example, went from 3800 to 4300, then 4B00, back to 4200, then 4800 and finally 5000.

I hope you'll get your ZL1 very soon now.

Thanks. Joe said essentially the same thing, that 4000 was an internal order change. I would have expected the codes to be linear and he said only the dealer can see all the codes in order.

It's likely that after almost two weeks at the railyard the car may actually be moving or waiting on a load to the dealer. It could arrive today.

This is very helpful for me. I'm at 4300 and dealer says it's at the railyard in Toledo, OH. I need to ask him for a code history in case it gets bayed for the 1LE hood wrap. I saw someone else post the hood wrap shuffle when his car went backwards from 4300 to 4B00. Thanks for the post!

You all think this is bad, the challenger/charger crowd is dealing with the trucker BS blocking the boarder. Those cars are made in Brampton in Canada and they are all messed up trying to get cars down from CA into the US. This is nothing.

Dodge at least apparently does not take orders on cars not able (or want) to build.
BTW. Anybody have insight if rumors about LT2 in SS are true? Whoever work at Milford Proving Grounds should have seen prototypes already. Given situation with ordering/building such leaks wouldn't be that big of a crime

Sure. I didn't see same Charger as I have (I have seen wide body maybe three times in the wild since they came out), but yet you got Camaro exactly the same I ordered... Being in the same area... well, I guess that will make us friends? Or enemies?

Hahaha we're friends I'm just talking crap. You're closer to the westside of the state, I'm more east in Clinton Twp. so we may bump into each other at a Ligenfelter car meet or something. I love seeing camaro's. I dont see them as frequent as I do the 5th gen to be honest. My area is swamped with chargers/challenger from scatpacks -> hellcats on top of the state police driving chargers too.
