Weird incident

While I was cruising, I had satellite radio doing
It’s thing, then screen went blank!? I thought
I just lost the satellite signal, but screen was totally
Blank! It came back on within 60 seconds, and
Is working fine….. first time this happened?!
Has anyone have this weird issue?

Ad DorsoDuroJohn posted, this happened to me a couple months ago. Check the settings under the home screen and see if an update is pending.

I've had something similar happened when I delayed an update. Iirc my Bluetooth cut out. Screen froze and it restarted itself. Still haven't update yet. Lol

I checked updates, no updates, so I’m clueless
Why this happened?! All I can think of is fuse
Or wiring harness, but this is an intermittent
Problem, an since new, only did it once.

Probably just a glitch in the matrix if it only happened once.

My ZL1 had this issue one time and next time I drove it was back to normal. I still have OnStar and XM radio though.

Never had the problem on either of my previous 6th gens. But, it’s happened a bunch of times in my 2022. I “believe” it’s started on my Iphones end (at least in my case). When charging the phone it will get very warm, but not show the typical error on the phone yet.

It very much seems the above causes the car screen to go blank as a result of some type of loss of communication error. Since I’ve moved my phone to keep it cool while charging (near cooling vents, I’ve had zero issues).

Could it be as simple as a satellite disconnect and then quickly reconnects while the unit is deciding what to do?

U mean ground on radio? Or battery ground? I would assume it’s the
Ground for the screen….good luck
Digging that out from under the dashboard!
I think it’s aliens trying to abduct the car!
Screen went blank and satellite radio went
Silent, cell phone was connected by BT for
Apple play, but I was using Sirus radio.
