Kids in the back of a convertible?
For those of you who have kids and a convertible, how did they like it? How is the wind back there for them? I obviously don't plan to drive at interstate speeds but would love to be able to drive it at 55-60 without them throwing a fit.
Obviously each kid is going to be different, but for those of you who have been in this situation before, what have been your experiences? |

You don’t say how old your children are. I suggest that you have somebody drive at those speeds while you sit in the back seat. It isn’t terrible but it isn’t pleasant either.

I've had other people's kids, ranging in ages from 4 to 13, in the back seat of my convertible with the top down and on the highway for no more than 15 minutes at a time. They were all fine and loved it.

As long as they weigh less than 100lbs each and they sit on both sides of the rear seat to evenly distribute the weight across the rear tires should be able to pull some insane hole shots just fine.

OP, if you take Mark114s suggestion, I suggest you schedule the amputation of your legs in advance. All kidding aside, I sat back there once to see what it would feel like and almost had a panic attack. But that just me. The kiddos should be fine.
