Blown away! - Paint after correction / ClearBra & Ceramic

So... After having the car delivered to me with the worst paint I have ever seen on a brand new vehicle.... 40 hours of paint correction, a $6500 ClearBra job by Vancouver ClearBra and 2 coats of Ceramic sealant, the final product is remarkable! The shine, reflection, color depth and clarity is beyond any vehicle I have seen, regardless of price.

I'm blown away guys. All I can say IS WOW!

Looks like you swapped the vinyl wrap for satin like i did. Very sweet! I like that much better than the factory matte.

Yep. I paid 7k for mine.

If you go to a good wrap shop, they take the panels off and roll the material around the edges so there are no visible lines.

Judging by the quality of this job, I'm guessing this was a good wrap shop.

+ My wrap guy complained a lot about the front end...

Of course you're blown away, you paid a ****ing fortune for all these procedures to perfect the paint.

Car looks great, I thought prices here in the NJ/NY area were steep for this type of work.

I payed $3500 for each on my Camaro and Hellcat and it was a reputable shop doing the work.

Car looks great.

I just don't see the cost benefit in applying the clear bra. At the cost for install $6500 + removal say approx. $1200, plus additional paint correction $500 - 1000K after removal.

I feel like I could get the entire car repainted by a good shop.

I was totally on the fence on the whether to do the bra or not. Your right. It's a ton of cash. After I found 3 very noticeable rock chips after only 100 kilometres, I had made up my mind. You can get cheap bras installed for half the price, but they are typically very badly done, with exposed edges, multiple pieces used for single panels and visible seam lines. This car has none of that. I can now drive behind a dump truck with gravel in it and not be worried about chips. Road rash, bird etchings and airborne fallout are all a thing of the past now. 10 year warranty on the bra material and lifetime on installation defects. The peace of mind I have now is calming! For me, this is the most expensive car I have ever purchased and the extra expense just makes sense. Remember guys, 50 ZLE's for Canada in 2019 at $85-$90K a copy!

I did the paint correction and Ceramic coating myself. It sure is extremely satisfying to stand back and appreciate the end result of many late nights.

Congrats, that looks awesome!

IMO clear bra is necessary for any new car because the new paints are so soft leading edges will all chip. Depending on where you drive the car may look like it was sandblasted after a single year. I think you're crazy not to do at least the entire front end and leading edges.

I did clear bra myself and paid a shop to give it a good polish beforehand. The front bumper is indeed a massive PITA. I spent a whole day on the front bumper pieces and a couple more days on everything else.

It looks great but a professional wax job and sealant would do the same.

My Tacoma PRO comes with a clear bra. So did my GT350
