HELP.. V6 RS spoiler removal..

im not sure if there has been a post regarding the removal of the V6 RS rear spoiler. For some reason, i used a goo goo gone.. tried using a fishing line and of course removed the 6 bolts holding the spoiler.. but it is not coming off.. the fishing line breaks off.. i spent 2-3 hrs trying to figure out what else i can do just to get this thing off my trunk.. PLEASE anybody who has an idea.. HELP ME.. SS models are different from the LT/ V6 RS models.. is it possible that the double sided tape had the whole spoiler stuck on the trunk?

You must read all the posts here, esp mne as i did the RS removal on this thread. There are more than six bolts , the three in the center are pushpins the need to either be broken or manipulated. Since you have new ones on the spoiler that goes on , you can break them . Tape goes all the way Across.

woooow!!! thos RS spoiler clips are a PITA!!!! shooooots!!! no matter how i try to reach it with a screwdriver, i just can seem to take them off... grrrrrrggghhhhhh?!!!???! this is getting into my nerves... any tricks or hint with this three clips will be appreciated... as what Glen said, took him around 2 hrs.. itll probably take me two days or more for this... haaaaist...

I just pulled up on the spoiler and the clips popped. Took maybe 15 to remove the stock spoiler and another hour to clean up the left over tape. Try tugging o. The spoiler instead of trying to unclip them.

how to get rid of that white plastic clip on the center of the trunk? i not enough room to do anything and what kind of tool i need to remove that?
