FYI, After connecting one of those, I tested, it lit once, then when I turned it on again, it flickered then went out. Burnt out the ballast. I think the problem was that the set I ordered said “100 watt” which I assume is 50 watt per bulb….they had another version that said “70 watt” which I assume is 35 watt per bulb which is what the ballasts are rated for, so I think it was drawing too much. I took off the bumper to easily get to ballasts and swapped them to verify that it was the ballast, which it was. Needed my car for night driving and couldn’t play around anymore with testing so got a 2 replacement ballasts with included HID bulbs on amazon for cheap and returned the LED ones. Since I only needed 1 ballast, I now have a spare ballast so I can try again with different LED bulbs in the future. All is working well again, just with aftermarket cheap HID bulbs, which will probably fail in the next year or two and I can then re-try different LEDs if I want

These were good for a quick fix at $30@ though considering the dealer wanted $237 for a single ballast

Aww man, I knew that ballasts were rated for the 35W OEM HID bulbs, but didn't scroll down to the details where it showed 100W for the silver version and 70W for the "new 3DS" variant . Sorry about it. The black 70W bulb variant should work just fine.

I believe HID with Xenon Bulb is brighter. Is that not the case? You can have HID's and them not be xenon bulb I thought.
