Clicking from rear right

Im getting a clicking sound when i initially apply power. Heres a vid of me turning the rotor to make the sound. I’ve never diagnosed an issue like this. Any suggestion on what I should look at first?
I’ll post a link to the youtube video in a minute.

Without seeing the video, it's most likely the Thrust Washer issue.... was a common thing on the 5th gen, seen several 6th gens have it happen too...

Since you're getting it while the wheel is off, that would rule out a torque'd lugnut issue.

Heres the clip of the sound. Thrust washer issue I’ll look that up.

If that helps... I don't think that's the same noise however.... yours sounds much louder, almost like a bad shaft..

Mine just started doing something similar. I just recently got two new rear tires , however and that’s when it started. Figured my issue was lugnuts not torqued properly though as my fronts had similar issues. Will keep an eye on this thread in case the noise comes back.

I’ll start by replacing the thrust washer then report back. My vid might be louder bc my car was off and wheel was off and i had my phone much closer to thw sound.

Following this thread. I have a 'click' almost 'knocking' sound coming from the rear right as well.
Only notice it in the first few minutes of a drive. The noise happens for about 1-3 seconds maybe 1 or 2 times. After that don't hear it for the rest of the drive.
I don't think it's a torqued lug nut issue because I've made sure multiple times they're all at 140.

I have this EXACT issue as well and have a 23 SS 1le as well. Haven’t taken it to the dealer because like you said it only happens during the first few minutes of driving so they can’t replicate it. If you figure it out please pm me or update this thread.

You may want to check your axle nuts:

Thanks Buck50, didn't know about this issue. Will definitely check this early next week when I'm with my car.

I'll update if this fixes anything.

Update
So after torqueing both wheels down I’m still hearing the noise unfortunately.
Couple things, one of the axle bolts did look like it may have loosened 1/4 turn, it still feels tight though. It’s also on the opposite side of where I hear the noise. I watched the thrust washer video and it does sound like it a bit…. More of a subtle click than a clank. Also, mine is m6. It’s possible mine has been doing this for a long time but wasn’t hearing it do to windows up and ac blasting. Lastly mine goes like this.

On throttle - click
Off throttle and coast in gear - click
Repeat.

My 5th gen SS had the thrust washer issue (which is also what's featured in the video link I posted). It doesn't matter whether it's an M6/A8 car...

About that thrust washer video. Not sure if it’s auto or manual, but that car makes the noise when putting it in gear. My car only does it when engaging throttle, or letting off throttle.
