Haters gonna hate...I guess
Woke up this morning and I see this on my driver side window. It's white spray paint. I looked around and checked if I was the only victim, sadly I wasn't. The BMW down the street got a dick painted on this window as well. I think they ran out of spray paint when they messed with my car.
I've been using a plastic spoon to remove it and it's been working so far. If you guys have any recommendations I'll take them.

Is it just on the glass?
Acetone on the glass, clay bar on the paint. Relax or reseal everything. |

razor blading the windows is a non-issue. But everything that isn't glass.... potentially an insurance claim.
definitely try glen's ideas first edit: then see if anyone knows who the douche nozzles are that did it and return the favor in whatever way you see fit. Knee caps are popular. |

Razor blade for sure. Had my police car done like that years ago and I bladed it and was good. Thank god I had just waxed it with Nu-Finish and I just re-waxed it the paint and it came right off as well. If I ever catch somebody doing this you’ll hear about it on CNN and it won’t be fake news.

heavy clay bar will make it shine like new again! Sucks that this happened, but if you had some wax on the car, a claybar will take it right off the paint and windows. Maybe buy a cover/camera, you could have a destructive kid on your block.

Thank God it was on only the glass... such a pretty color. And yes, haters are always good at hating.

A razor blade could scratch the glass. I'd use 0000 steel wool and a little lacquer thinner. Be careful of the rubber sill molding though.
Can you park it in the garage for a few nights? That's what I'd do. Also, I'd invest in a motion activated security spot light if you don't already have one. |

I once was behind a city road paint truck, they were laying down yellow lines between the lanes, I had a choice...stay behind them and risk getting paint on the front of my car or change lanes. Since I was heading to work and didn't want to risk being late by slowing down and staying far behind the truck, I switched lanes, I had road paint under my wheel wells and all 4 fenders. I checked with numerous car guys as well as, the body shop. The number one answer...Kerosene! Yep, as it turned out many car show guys detail their cars with it. Works great on tar, bugs and of course road paint!

Razor will scratch anything. Do not use a razor. Clay bar
Spray paint is not a big deal and there's no need to call insurance and pay a deductible |

I am not trying to promote but Z-best car wax will remove spray paint, I used it for years on my other cars, even when someone would side swipe my car in a parking lot it would remove the other cars paint, the scratch/damage was always visible but it took the paint off and no need for razors or harsh steel wool. I still have about half a bottle from my last purchase and hoping I wont need to use it on my new Camaro.
