2017 1LE stuck in reverse
Today while backing into a parking spot, I went to put car in neutral and was stuck in gear.
Turned car off and on and let it roll forward and it came out of gear. Went through all gears was fine. Looking for insight if something I should worry or look into or dismiss as a fluke |

If it ever happens agin scroll threw your gauges and check the Transmission temp. See if its higher than normal.

That video doesn't show a car stuck in reverse.
If the issue is with the reverse camera, it does take time for it to turn off like all cars with reverse cameras -that's a universal technology. She doesn't allow any time for the shifter to stay out of reverse for the camera view to disappear. The beginning of the video shows the display, shifter, and camera in reverse. Then she quickly goes between reverse and neutral. What does this video even show? |

It's my car and I'm a HE...what the video shows is the I'm not able to put the car in neutral...shifter is stuck in the gate

I eventually get out of gear but while in neutral I have a hard time putting in gear. Once in gear the car is fine. Also, not able to wiggle it in neutral Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

First question do you have skip shift elliminator? If you do take it off. It caused my car to not be able to shift out of neutral several times. I didn't believe it until I took it to the dealer and luckily had a cool service tech that told me he's ran into this several times on the Vette platform. Removed it and it hasn't done it since.
