I was never a "car guy" until I got the Camaro.
Throughout my short 26 years on this earth I was never really into cars. I noticed the nicer looking ones but never felt I had to have them. As such I never bothered to learn car parts and their functions.
Now that I got the Camaro it's so much fun and has so much power I'm in love. I want to learn, and I am slowly learning, about modding, car parts, their functions, and what to do/not do. I wish I could keep up with the lingo here st the forums. Sometimes I'm reading threads with people who have modded, and I sometimes get lost in their explanations of what they have done or why. I'll be sticking around and asking stupid questions so I can have a better understanding of do's and dont's. Hopefully I can keep up! Looking forward to modding when I feel comfortable with what I know. |

Outstanding! Welcome to the brotherhood. Take your time and learn a little bit each day, ask all the questions you have, this is a great group of people!

Be warned, it can be a very expensive "hobby".

I can see haha. Little by little hopefully. Have to choose between car parts and keeping my wife happy, but she loves camaros too so that's a good thing.
That's the good thing here, everyone seems really friendly and willing to help. Makes newbies such as myself comfortable. |

OP Welcome to the family!
I was once in your position and did not know much. I started at the age of 16 with my first car and have never looked back! They say that the most expensive hobby starts at $0.97 (Hot Wheels). For others like us it does not hit you till you are in the drivers seat of something you did not know much of. Ask your questions, most everyone here is willing to help. Some will give you some crap but look pasted it. You are learning for yourself. Again welcome to the family!

I agree with all of you guys..My family had a 88 Camaro z28 when I was growing up..I loved that thing to death.. they sold it soon as I got my licenses (10 years ago)..LOL so I saved up and bought the 6 Gen.. I love this car..I went to my first cars & coffee by Ligenfelter too with my car and its amazing people how they admire your car and others as well. Plus all the different mods you see on others cars..oh man its like watching porn lol
