The only thing they pulled at Factory Fest in Lansing was the porta pottys and they were lucky to get that job.

Well Becky, it seems I may need to lurk this thread again and make a second TPW. Looks like my car is headed to buyback and reorder status. Today it was diagnosed with internal engine damage, along with the electrical issues it has had since the first week of taking it home. At least I know how it works now....I've posted in the Warranty issues topic if you weren't aware....such disappointment after being sooooo excited to get my car....and it gets to happen all over again....

I saw your posts over in the warranty area. I’m sorry to hear that. But glad it’s a buyback. But sorry you have to wait for another Camaro to be built. You and a few select others I rooted for during your build process. Get to do it again. I will be rooting and waiting excitedly with you again. Hang in there man.

I'm sorry to hear what happened, but at least you'll get a buyback, and hopefully not a lemon next time. I was curious, how does the process work for getting a replacement car? Do you get to build it from scratch again? Do they replace the car exactly as your current car was ordered?

As far as I know, it works the same. I do not have exact details yet. I will know more Tuesday. My case specialist is calling me back Tuesday. My dealer has to submit the official diagnosis paperwork first, which they plan to do Monday.
