Before I had my enclosed, I had an open Featherlite, it was Built really well. They guy I sold it to in 2012 is still using it, and it’s going on 20 Yrs old. I have a lot of friends that have R&R Trailers. Open aluminum and they will pretty much build to your spec. Solid build for a reasonable price.
Biggest downsides I’ve noticed with Trailex is they tend to sit a little higher than other trailers and need longer ramps and maybe Race Ramp extensions to work with lower cars. Also, with no center, it’s hard to use them to haul anything else, like a tractor, or if you have to move furniture or large boxes |
