Steering Wheel Reset Procedure?

So I am doing a LT header install and was pulling my wideband sensor through the firewall and braced myself using the steering wheel which turned. I didn’t think about it til I got out, and I don’t recall the position but the shaft is out of alignment for sure. Is the reset the same procedure as the Mustang? Turn the wheel all the way left til you hit the stop, turn right and count til it hits the next stop, and turn back half those turns and it’s set straight?

Is there a way to make the backup camera turn on without starting the car and putting it in reverse? I turned the car “on” by pressing and holding the start button without cranking, put it in R but nothing. Reverse lights won’t even come on. The shitty part about modern cars, too smart for their owners good. This would have been an easy fix for an older vehicle.

For the record, if you ever end up in my situation, don’t panic. Once you put the car on the ground ready to run, you can fire it up and put the car in R and use the backup camera path lines to determine your steering angle. Turn the wheel accordingly, and bolt your steering shaft back up.
