Suzuki stops selling cars
It doesn't affect motorcycles and ATV's apparently.
Most of us may not mourn the loss of Suzuki but it is a reflection of our continuing bad economy. http://www.freep.com/article/2012110...uki-bankruptcy |

I was a Parts & Service Director for a Suzuki dealership. It isn't the economy that killed them, it's their crappy quality. I saw it first-hand, and bailed before it got worse.

Do you even lift, bro?

The fact that they EVER sold cars is amazing. The fact that people actually voluntarily paid thousands and thousands of dollars for them is even worse.

I'm actually quite surprised by this. I expected them leave the US market years ago. I can only name 2 models that they sell right now (and of those, I can't even spell one)

Not surprised, the only halfway decent car they have is the Kisashi, and it has been sold for a few years with no real updates. The others are well past their purchase, only exception is the, Equator (I think), and it was just a rebadged Nissan Frontier.

I thought the Kizashi wasn't too bad looking.

I wonder who will service the 100,000 mile warranties?

Suzuki will still be honouring their warranties. They are simply ceasing the sale of cars in the US (not sure about Canada yet). They will continue to built & sell cars in other parts of the world, as well as continuing the sale of ATV's and motorcycles. If you are specifically asking where to get work done, there are countless shops that are authorized to do warranty work for pretty much every automotive brand out there.
