I am not saying I don't like it, I'm just saying that it won't be as flat as that red car shows.

Matter of fact, after the C6 ZR1 just won over the 2013 SRT Viper in a Motor Trend comparison some people who had one on order canceled it. Thinking that if it can't beat the outgoing C6 ZR1 that it really won't have a chance against the C7 ZR1 whenever it arrives.
I'm sure it will perform fantastically....I'm still excited to see the car and learn more about it...no doubt about it.

I just hope the real thing changes my mind as far as looks, because so far I'm just not sure how I'm feeling. Evolution and change has to happen, but some cars are build on heritage and most of these cars have some signature look to them. The rear on the Vette was an example of that, and this just kind of blows that out of the water. Just my opinion.

That said..I can't wait until it is unveiled!

Why no rounded taillights? Why a rear quarter window? Why the same basic interior as the c6? Ugly. If I recall right, wasn't chevy's main goal on this corvette to have an awesome interior to make up for the lack of in the previous gens?

The goal was for materials and fit and finish improvement - there really isn't a problem with the layout - the steering wheel shape looks pretty nice too. The exterior of the car is where I start to get leery

I see the layout and it looks fine to me. Fit and finish is what I'm waiting to see!
