The v6 would die under pressure but the SS would take it for sure. Off the line you will probably be close to even until up and around 50mph. I think by then your car will look like you have the turbo and you will start pullin like a maniac.

Remember, the 2000 - up MR2 is no comparison to the 90's MR2s. The post 2000 MR2s were spyders with only one engine available - a 140hp NA 1.8 liter. While yes, they have a great power to weight ratio, and yes, if he slapped a turbo on it could be a fun, quick, little car, I don't think its going to come very close to the 2SS unless he has a ton of engine mods allowing him to run some pretty high boost and more.
On an autoX track, he'll walk you, though |
