Since you guys are discussing track prep, i wanted to know if we need to do all the prep for a Auto cross event as well? I have never tracked my car and wanted to start off with Auto-cross first.
Will I need to change the engine oil, trans fluid and brake fluid for auto-cross events? Thanks!

For autocross, change the engine oil if it hasn't been done recently. Not sure about AT fluid because I've never autocrossed a car with AT. You should be OK with the brake fluid that's in there - for most folks, autocross isn't very demanding on brake fluid (though there are a few exceptions up at the pointy end of that activity).
