I have been driving my 2017 ZL1 all winter in Maine in all kinds of snow. I did go with 19" wheels for a little bit more tire for potholes and I went to 285's all around. The thing is really decent in snow.

ps. Put 3 50lb sandbags in a plastic bin in the trunk for the slippier stuff which is an old pickup truck trick from the old days.

Everything OP said is true, but I love driving mine in track mode in the snow. It handles great and keeps me sharp..., but just like in AutoX, you have to be careful not to overpower the throttle.

As original poster, I suggest combining this thread with the “ZL1 snow tires” thread.
