Rev surging and higher idle - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I started my Camaro and for some reason it started randomly rev surging up past 1000RPM and even a little past that and then after a few surges it calmed down and sat at an higher than usual idle and would go up and down. I had a CEL so I went Autozone to see what the codes I was getting. Something with the crank sensor not being aligned with the camshaft sensor and intake sensor and exhaust sensor. I am tuned, but the only changed to the engine were timing. Anybody have an idea of what might be wrong here?

Could you reload the stock tune to see if that fixes the issue?

Stock tune on and the codes still show up, I'm guessing the sensors went whack and got damaged trying to fix a problem that wasn't happening.

Also, my car when I am at a stop light would slow rev down and shake like it is going to stall then rev itself back up. I am in an automatic so its strange.
