Here is a poll where you can vote on whether you like the refresh or the pre-refresh look better: https://www.carscoops.com/2018/04/20...elift-old-one/

Why not just slap the 5mph bumper from a 1981 Camaro on it.

I know this notation is SOP for a MCE...But there might be a glimmer of hope.."Preproduction models shown throughout. Actual production model may vary". The one change that should be do-able is painting that center bar on the front of the SS to match the exterior color. Would be a change that drastically improves the looks of the Camaro. The relocation of the flowtie should match where they put it on the RS.

Very soon. Tires ordered (figured the dealer wouldn't appreciate corded track tires on a trade in) and detail started to remove all the rubber marks.. once that's done my Ford is being traded in for a 2018 SS 1LE...

Again, I really like what they did with the RS front and the rear.
I just DESPISE the SS front!
What were they thinking?? :(
I don't mind the tail lights honestly. The piece around them to make them match the quarter panel looks a bit cheesy to me but I get not wanted to retool the factory for the change.

The bottom bumper I don't like.. still hate the front end.. the hood I'm fairly OK with also.

I'm still wondering what part of the PDR system has been "Enhanced".

Along with the rear end and rest of the front, why this new looking headlight? It looks cheap, like something you'd get on a Kia. That LED bar is far too long, someone should photoshop a version with the blue bar across the front, the bowtie up higher and the long stem on the head light shortened, it's just another fail on GM's part.

These:

Too long!

haven't posted on here for a long time since I am a 5th gen owner. When I saw the latest transformers movie, i thought to myself, I hope they don't do that to the Camaro. When I saw the bumblebee car on Jay Leno's garage, i really really hoped that they wouldn't bring the front end into production because it does look like a charger RT. That being said, if the blacked out bumper is body colored, that would help alot, not to mention moving the bowtie up. if the refresh is set in stone, then I can see them selling alot of black SS cars.

Well, I'd likely get a black one (like my 17). So, the bumper would match. I have a black bowtie anyway, do you don't really ever see it, no matter where it is.

I don't want the 10-speed at all (it's why I got an M6).

Rear lights are fine - but I have the dark ones on my car already.

If you can't turn the front-collision warning off, I'll never buy the car, no matter if it's 700hp and $20k.

I like the rearview mirror. That's about it.

So, all-in-all, I really don't have any need or want to get a new one.
