I've never seen so many people butt-hurt over a refresh; it's worse than the rice forums! Everyone thinks the refresh is horrible, yet the sales are dismal for the model they bought. I don't get it.
I love the refresh on all the models, and especially the SS! To me it makes the current model already look dated. If I had purchased a 2018 over the weekend I'd be curled up in the fetal position in bed right now, and that's coming from someone who loves the 2018. |

I like the turbo four 1LE and refresh other than the SS front end, tails may grow on me, but the SS front, no.

I am going with a "not as good" on the SS refresh. Looks reminiscent of the Corsica, you have to be old to remember those, in the curviness of the grill and the big black hole is too Lexus, especially with the silver bow tie there.
I would still buy it for the performance but it doesn't look as good, 90% overall versus 97% for the 2017. The odd little body colored wings that go nowhere are not pleasing on the SS. I might say the tail lights are little better or a wash. |

Fact of the matter is that, Camaro enthusiast will always find a way to make an okay looking car look hot. I like the new refresh and I know upgrades that I would do first is to work on the suspension and brakes, for performance, not just for looks. Then mild engine mods and that's it. Everyone is different. Gabe's rendering was totally awesome and so much better looking.

Admittedly, the camaro is like a brick in the air, 20s aren't helping here either... I like the 4cyl 1LE concept, the styling is pretty bad...

As per my post in the general section (gong show) i happen to like the refresh. The car has lost its aggressivness but gained a revised retro look imo.
Also to me the new SS front end matches the overall body better. And the rear end got fixed way beyond just the lights. Bottom line i think the car was overly aggressive and sports car vs muscle car looking for broad market. Hence dismal sales and hence the direction of the refresh. Just my opinion. Only sales numbers will show if they went in the right direction or not. |

The turbo 1LE has the best looking front end of the bunch. I dont like the tail lights, or head light though.

It is until January 2019, class changes don't usually go into effect until the first of the year, at least what I read somewhere.
And I thought they had moved it to FS, not DS.

It looks great. Can't say that about the SS though.

My guess since the current turbo camaro is in DS and doing decently well this will go into BS. Pure speculation but they always try and bury special package cars so that its not required to have a special trim to win a class. Thats kinda why the v6 1LE was in BS last year rather than FS. This car does have my eye but its hard to want to give up a V8 after owing one lol.

The only thing I'm not completely onboard with is the Flowtie in the middle of the bumper, but I don't give it much thought. To me the hood is 100x better, and it flows well with the roof. The LED's look mean and the I prefer the new taillights. My biggest complaint is the A10 option, because before now I was set on a 6-speed, and now I'm up in the air. It was easier when it wasn't an option. |
