We made it home ok but, we have a leak in the bedroom. Now we have some damage to the ceiling and 2 walls. Took a knife and made some holes for the water to drain. 5 containers to catch the stuff. Attic time when I have some light outside. Never been on the forum this early. Had to empty the containers. The rain event from Hurricane Katrina and Gustav were easier than this, except for loosing power for 10 days and the wind destruction. 100% chance of rain for at least the next 17 hours! Shit is just spinning and dumping on us, the low pressure area is right on top of Baton Rouge! For any of ya'll wanting rain, I wish I could help you. Since Jan 1st we have had 58.41" and counting and are 20.21" ahead! Sorry for the bitching, some people have it worse than me. This is the most flooding in the history for our area!

Ragnar I know this sucks. I have watched flood waters approaching with no way out. If you have a jack and jack stands use them it will help alot. Best of luck hope it quits soon .

I feel for you... really do... BTDT too... right now, if you can, park it sideways to get the backend out if it helps.

Ragnar, hope you're doing alright... Was checking up on my buddy in Lafayette, and thought of you.
