Best Brand Street Tire

Hi Guys

I am about to replace my original Pirelli P-Zero tires.I got 31,000 kms out of them, which I though wasn't to bad.I know they are a soft tire and was wondering if I shouild stat with them or is there a better street tire out there that will give you a comfortable ride and get better mileage out of them.I know the Pirelli thread is low and why the mileage is not to be expected to be up in the 40.000 - 50,000 kms range.Anyone with experience or advice would be gladly appreciated.

20,000 miles isn't really great overall but for a "performance" tire probably not terrible.

My 2010 had Goodyear Eagle Sport all seasons on it when I got it. I put 33,000 miles on them and figured they had at least 10K on them when I got the car.

Rears were not quite to the wear bars - (they were when I got to the tire store ) and the fronts were about half wear or a little more.

The fronts were showing some cracking on the sidewalls so I elected to replace all 4 since I will run at higher speeds sometimes. My car is every day driver/toy so the Eagle All Seasons work well for me.

I’ve been really happy with my bfg comp2’s they were on it when I got it, about 3/4 tread. The rears are about done (damn that skinny pedal) but the fronts have probably 1/2 tread left. I’m going back with them here pretty soon for the rears.

Firestone Indy 500's hard to be for the money. Really they are Bridgestones.

I went thru 2 sets of Pirelli P-Zero tires, one set of BF Goodrich tires. Only got about 20K miles on each set and I don't spin the tires. Last year I put Continental tires on my SS which has 68K miles on it. Check on Tire Rack for a comparison of any tire you are after. Check the tread wear spec on the tires you might want to buy. I did that and Continental had the best wear warranty. I just bought Continental tires for my 2017 Silverado truck because of the better tread wear.

I've also ran (and still running on the front) the Firestone Indy 500. I have had good luck with them and also think they perform well. Especially for the price. I've got about 25k on my fronts right now and still have life left.

I run the Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 front and back and have had really good wear out of them. I now have 113000 miles on the car and only have had 2 sets on the front, second set was installed at 98000 miles. The rears have great traction when they are new, but if you do any burnouts, and I do, they don't last that long, maybe about 45000. But all in all they are a great all season tire, drive great in the rain and are smooth and quiet, and look good and the price is nice.. I really like them..

I'm also a fan of the Continental Extreme Contact DWS06's, I would recommend those.

If money is no object, I know Michelin Pilot Super Sports are often rated pretty highly as well, I've never had a set myself though.

Stay away from good year tires , horable rubber compounds that crack and let air through leading to bulges in side wall or separations at the belts, they are some the worst tires made

That is what I am running and I love them. They were some of the cheapest of all the name brand tires I could find at the time and they have great reviews too.

I get 32,000 to 39,000 out of Delinte Desert Storm D8. They are directional. They were on my car when I bought it. On my second set. No hydroplane. Good ride. Oddly enough, they are listed as a SUV tire.

Yes.

I figure ANY tire that will last my dumb ass over 30K miles in this car has good mileage wear qualities!
