You are correct. Any card larger than 32gb will be the wrong format and the PDR will not recognize it. There is a trial program you can download that will allow you to reformat to FAT32. There’s a thread on here about it somewhere.

I have a 258GB in mine with no issues. You have to use the FAT32 format. The size/capacity of the card, doesn't matter.

On a side note, I used mine for a road trip and notice if I received or made a phone call, the pdr shut down once the call was started. I noticed this as I saw something funny while I was on the phone. Tried to play it back later and noticed the video stopped just about the same location I started the call. Not sure if this is supposed to be that way or maybe it was coincidence. I had about an hour of video. I did not think to check the file size.
