5/2017 build date, M6 car. Engine came out at 7500 miles for cam, valve train and CNC heads. I'm still on my factory original pump and now at 17,000 miles and over 1000 whp. This being said, I am planning on pulling the engine in the winter of 2021 and replacing the pump with the latest and greatest available at that time. Fingers crossed that the factory pump last that long.......

March-April 2017 build date, and 32k miles. No issues other than the early TSBs. Had an issue with the factory front end alignment. A local racer who owns a tire and front end shop sorted it out. (I didn't trust the dealership.)

2017 with 22,500 miles. No issues at all except for the early link clunk which was fixed easily.

I don't remember hearing of oil pump failures on a Z06 forum I visit. Did Chevy change the pump to a different one for the LT4 in the ZL1?

I agree in principle, but am hesitant to replace mine until i can be assured that the replacement pump is any better than the original. This is obviously a marginal design at best as evidenced by the half dozen or so part number rolls with no perceptible improvement in reliability.
