I've tossed the idea around of trading my 2SS or a SS 1LE, but couldn't justify it financially. Next car will be a C8 or something completely different

My next step up is going with an LT1 from a ZL1.

Currently in a 2019 V6 RS. I love it very much! It's a rocket compared to my 2015 Mazda 6 (with 184hp).

Plan on taking it to some autocross this year.

With that being said, I got it last February and I really regret not knowing about the upcoming (at the time) LT1 model. The SS models were way out of my price range. I absolutely refuse to buy used sports cars, and this car is my daily. I ended up getting a better job where I could afford the LT1 model, but I can't switch now. I'd be way upside down on my loan.

I'm likely just going to keep my car until 2023 at least I really hope that the Camaro will come out with a new generation, and 2023 won't be the last. If it is the last, I may upgrade to an SS around then.

I’m 44, and I plan on keeping my 2017 Nightfall Gray 1SS until I’m buried. 👍🏻
I may add Katzkin seats down the road, but I’m happy with the NPP, 3M Pro paint protection and color matched GM splash guards I added. I now own her outright and I have 4300 miles on her! It will get 2K or so miles a year of fun, so I’ll be buried in it. 🇺🇸🤘🏼

I'm building my current 2016 2SS with a 416ci forged stroker, Huron Speed twin turbo kit, secondary port injection, rear suspension, drag pack etc...

When I get it done and get tired of it I will either try and find someone who wants an 8 second capable 6th gen that has a C7 Z06 and trade or sell it out right and buy a Z06.

Same. Paying off the loan and owning the vehicle outright is my priority.

The only thing that is semi affordable to me that I would get rid of my ZL1 for is a replica 65 Shelby Daytona. Around 2200 pounds, tires similar to ZL1, a nice high reving v8 around 400hp and no nannies. I’m not into most replicas but a replica of a race car that wasn’t ever available to buy that you can drive on the street? Yes please!!!

Might be the sexiest car to ever come out of America even if it was never produced commercially

Anything short of one of these and I’ll be happily keeping the ZL1.

No upgrade for me so I did not vote. I am perfectly happy with my 2016 V6 1LT, M6. The mods of MBRP axle back with 20" rotary forged Stance wheels took my car to the exact platform I was looking for. Very budget minded, bang for the buck performance car. Good handling, fun to drive, great looks, 334 HP, manual transmission, limited slip rear differential, regular gas, 32 MPG. Total investment 22K.

Some other platform after a couple of years. Maybe a Cayman, I'm not sure yet. Since I've now owned the Alfa platform, I don't see a reason to have another.

Just out of curiosity, what made you go from the ZL1 to the LT1?
