Crazy. Might as well try cause they might even have a rough time getting MSRP. There are some new Demons out there for 110. Why did it have to be white lol

I hope that it sits on the lot until the tires are dry-rotted and flat. Anyone that pays dealer mark-up is a sucker. There are plenty of honest dealers that do not charge a premium. Buy from them instead!

I just miss the good old days of the Cobra. Only 600 SVT dealers could sale them, but they didn't rape you on markups for common SVT's. (maybe a Cobra R or something) In 04 they still had Terminators on the dealer lots that they were letting go for well under MSRP to clear room for the then new S197 Mustangs.
Back in 2006 when dealers were getting the new 07 GT500's that carried about a $48K MSRP the dealer markups for that car were insane. I'm talking $120K in some cases. Then a couple years later the economy crashed and you could get a very low mileage 07/08 GT500 for right over $30K. I test drove an 08 GT500 with 2,500 miles that they were asking $34K for back in 2010. IMO this is why these "speciality Mustangs hold their value so well. Because many people are Mustang fanboys and will pay big markups for then, and then want to sale them as collectables and get more $ than they shhould be worth from them. |
