For thoes with primary cat delete and stock cam, how much more smell is there? After its fully warmed up

I went FBO with stock cam and E85, every once in a while there is a slight smell of vodka, even when warm. The smell of victory if you ask me.

From my understanding from one of the power vendors there is a 2" restriction somewhere after the stock header in all V8 CA6 Camaros. Is this in the 1st cat? Uncorking that won't give you LTs but would open up things a bit I assume. Does the second cat have the same inlet?

The O2 sensors work with the second cat? Or do you just tune them out anyway?

I just don't like the sound of LTs on an LT1.

Driver’s side cat before the actual converter is sub 1.8”
Passenger side is about 1.9 id twin wall
Stock header is about2.05 at collector

LT with no cats sounds terrible on stick muffler. Semi blah with cats
I have borla 60608 resornator now, I may try LT and cats with them ( stock suitcase)

I just installed Magnaflow cats(2) on my New Era deletes. Sounds so much better.
I have AWE track axle-back. Fixing to add Carven R-Series mufflers to the AWE pipes.

yep my thinking and experience too, also the closer the cat / resonator to the header (factory or other) the better.
