Honestly not much at all, sometimes another Camaro driver but hardly ever. Mines a ZLE.

Way more than I ever expected or desired. It's giving me a small pinch of an idea of what it must be like to be rich and/or famous. The really funny ones are the little boys going crazy over it and tripping on the color.

I've only seen around 5 other 6th gens and 10 to 15 5th gens in my town of 30,000 people. The 6th gens have all been 4 or 6 cylinders, so I get a lot of looks. Probably wondering what it is or thinking it's too loud (diverters opened) or maybe just thinking it looks good. I stay away from people, so I wouldn't know their thoughts (did that before Covid-19). However, I've seen around 600 chargers, challengers (land yachts) and mustangs combined.

I think it's a very sad attempt at a "joke" about you using the very common shorthand ZLE while the car is officially called a ZL1 1LE. I don't know why anyone would even think the "joke" was worth it, but here we are!

Behind every type of humor, supposedly, lies a certain kind of genius, but I’ve known some pretty lame geniuses.

Thats what I first thought too, just didn't make sense on a Camaro forum but I think your right.

nothing special over here. at one point there were 2 other ss 1LE cars within 3 miles of me, they were both white. the only time anyone has ever said anything to me was a girl with a 6 cyl 6g, who also parked way out away from the store, asking what kind of rimz i had.

the car scene is very strong around here. a camaro of any kind is normal. it's not uncommon to see lambos, porsches, ferraris, whatever you want. all you have to do is stand outside long enough and one will go by. apparently i live on county road floor it, because they all do.

got the most attention while driving an ae86 corolla. unreal how many ppl love those cars and will let you know it.

I know what you mean Nancy! Almost everyone compliments me on my ZL1 and some folks even ask me what is a ZL1. When I tell them it’s a Camaro then they know. Those asshats that you are referring to I have to deal with a lot especially since I drive a ZL1.

Very few 6th gen Camaros around here, I'm always cheered up by seeing another one. The comments I've received about the car so far are 100% positive, everyone loves the classy red+black combo.

A few months ago (feels like it's been a million years, but that'd be another convo) I may or may not have lined up with a Tesla model 3 performance and a stock looking Mustang GT on a totally empty 3-lane during the lockdown, and they were both cool, we exchanged a few respectful words about each other's cars.

My ZLE gets lots of attention. A trip to the gas station can sometimes be normal but others can take a gas station stop a half hour before I honestly tell them I have to go. My kids and I always see people taking pics or videoing while driving down the road. It’s often. But, not many ZLE’s in Canada.
