Yeah, just an excuse to get more cash from the customer. What is the Decor Package? Is that one of the build options or their own "pin-striping" type of deal? And what is the red light safety alert? I have heard and seen the red light camera systems that photograph cars/plates to automatically send tickets for running red lights. But what is the option for on the car? Is that the cross safety alert that comes with some of the vehicles as part of the rear view camera (included with the 2SS for certain)?

Buy it ! The ceramic coat is a good investment you might do anyway. That leaves less than $2k for the rest of the BS. You already know how hard it is to get what you want and it's available now, buy it.

red light most likely makes the third break light flash before going solid red when you hit the brakes.

I wouldn't trust a dealer's "ceramic coat". Tell them you don't want non of that shit.

The ceramic coat may be more of a jacket than a coating

Move along? Still at least 1 entire model year to go before you can no longer buy new. I would be shopping in January for a vert with at least a foot of snow out instead of trying to pick up a vert in summer, but you do you bud.

A local company that does it at your house, with 60+ perfect 5 star google reviews, charges $200 for ceramic coating for a new car... I have mine scheduled for next week.

These are for loss income because they don't have any cars to sell these days and instead of marketing adjustment fee. The dealer I worked for 5 years and still get employee discount in Service/Parts would not budge on $2695 in crap like that, and they would let you walk from finance, so another local dealer took my GMS and no charges except for $100 doc fee, which I let them have... Now I'm ordering my second 2023 Convertible from them, but a 2SS stick this time, because they know how to take care of their customers...

Overpriced more than likely. But at least you get something for that money, compared to a dealer price mark-up that includes nothing. Try and negotiate it down at least....it's the times we live in. A bird in the hand, etc., etc....Good luck.
